SAN ANGELO, TX — Steve Summers the past Lord Mayor of Westminster visited ASU this morning to deliver the invitation himself.
The London New Year’s day parade is the largest of its kind with more than 8,000 performers a street audience and more than 600-million people watching on television.
Summers said, "One of the things that I think is the best about London, the best thing about the city of Westminster is the people we have a land where 260 different languages are spoken and we have people from every country in the world."
The Director of bands for ASU says the university is honored to be recognized for their hard work and represent the Rams in the international spotlight.
