RUNNELS COUNTY, Texas — A Ballinger woman died in a single-vehicle crash near Ballinger Saturday evening.
According to a preliminary crash report from the Texas Department of Public Safety, Christine Evelyn Reitmayer, 47, of Ballinger, was driving a 2012 Cadillac SRX SUV on US Hwy 67, four miles east of Ballinger.
The report states Reitmayer was traveling east on 67 when the vehicle went off the right side of the road. She then turned left and went into a right-side skid, through a fence and rolled over in a pasture.
Reitmayer was transported to Shannon Medical Center for the treatment of non-incapacitating injuries.
Her passenger, Drew Blake Crenshaw, 19, of Ballinger, was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
