Local Firefighter Featured in Grant Promotion

Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department's Fire Chief Aaron Flint was recently featured in the new promotion from VFIS - the world's largest provider of insurance, education and consulting services for emergency service organizations, fire departments according to their website - for their need-based Health and Wellness Grant program.

SAN ANGELO, TX — Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department was recently able to purchase new workout equipment for their own fire department thanks to grant programs.

This new Grant Program sponsored by VFIS of Texas and Texas Mutual Insurance Company will be need-based for Fire Departments and Non-Profit EMS organizations in the state of Texas. Grants up to $5,000 will be awarded based on financial need. These Grants are intedend to encourage active participation in health and wellness programs.
