ABILENE, Texas — A 35-year-old Abilene man was killed when he was struck by a train just at approximately 7 p.m. Thursday, according to an City of Abilene press release.
The incident happened near E. Highway 80 and the Judge Ely underpass, along the train tracks.
Next of kin notification has been made. The man has been identified as Curtis Lee Proctor of Abilene.
The incident is being conducted as a death investigation and we will have more details as they become available.
