Livestock sold at San Angelo Stock Show Premium Sale

Participants and buyers met at the San Angelo Stock show Premium Sale on Saturday, Feb. 15.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Participants, families and buyers met on Saturday, Feb. 15 at the Gandy Ink sales pavilion on the at the San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo Fairgrounds for the Premium Sale 

At 2 p.m. a prayer followed by the Star Spangled Banner marked the start of the auction. A Grand Champion Market Steer sold first,followed by, lambs,barrows and other livestock. 

Cassie Atteberry of Blueridge, a participant in the sale, showed a Reserve Grand Champion Market Barrow she's had for approximately seven months. When asked what she will do with the proceeds from Saturday's sale, she stated it will go toward her college education. Atteberry plans to continue raising livestock after high school graduation and while in college. 

Where does she go next? After the San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo she is heading to San Antonio where she will show show Dark Cross.
