ABILENE, Texas — Abilene Christian University saw a record number of students enrolled for the Fall 2020 semester for the third consecutive year.
According to an ACU press release, there were 5,293 students enrolled for the fall semester. Of those students, the most significant increase came through 10 new online undergraduate programs introduced through ACU Dallas.
ACU Dallas is the campus home for the university's online degree program and offered 15 online undergraduate and 19 online graduate programs for the current year. ACU Dallas saw an increase of 17% more than the previous year, which is the highest-ever enrollment for the fall term.
ACU President, Dr. Phil Schubert, said the school is pleased to see the enrollment climb in the midst of the pandemic.
