TOM GREEN COUNTY, Texas — Five new deputies were sworn in to the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office Monday morning.
A ceremony was held at the Judge Edd B. Keyes building with fellow law enforcement officers and family members present as the new deputies took their oaths from Justice of the Peace, Susan Werner.
Senior District Judge Barbara Walther spoke at the ceremony welcoming the new deputies, Isreal R. Bilbo, Michael A. Crawford, Jess J. Murphy, Jonathan M. Rivera and Jacob Wike.
The deputies graduated from the Concho Valley Regional Law Enforcement Academy recently.
