SCURRY COUNTY, Texas — A Lubbock woman was killed in a vehicle rollover five miles east of Fluvanna in Scurry County Wednesday afternoon.
According to a preliminary crash report from the Texas Department of Public Safety, Ashley Lynn Martinez of Lubbock was driving an SUV and traveling north on CR 2134, five miles east of Fluvanna.
Martinez's SUV went straight through a left curve and off the roadway, traveled through brush and small trees, then rolled over, ejecting her from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The report said Martinez was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
