SAN ANGELO, Texas — Donors at the 2024 San Angelo Stock Show Premium Sale have done it again.
This year, the sale set a record-breaking amount of $1.2 million - money that will all go to youth exhibitors.
FFA and 4-H members from across the state head to San Angelo's Stock Show every February to compete for a slot in the Premium Sale held during the San Angelo Rodeo in April. Animals entered in the Junior Market Steer Show, Junior Market Barrow Show, Junior Market Lamb Show, Junior Wether Goat Show are eligible for the sale and add-ons.
Businesses and individuals donated the record amount to the 222 lots in the 2024 sale, held in the 1st Community Credit Union Spur Arena.
