SAN ANGELO, Texas — TLCA San Angelo is now hiring school bus drivers. The job includes competitive pay, benefits like health insurance and retirement plans and a flexible 10-month work calendar. The school is also paying for those without a CDL Bus Endorsement to receive training and certification. This effort is made to fight the nationwide bus driver shortage, but the director of transportation at TLCA San Angelo says its less of a shortage and more of a growth period.
