TEXAS, USA — Who are you?
My name is Britton Musall, and I am a meteorologist at FOX West Texas. I was born and raised in Plano, Texas. I graduated from Texas A&M University (Whoop!) in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in meteorology and minor in math. This is my first job as a meteorologist, and I’m excited to live and work in this area.
What are your interests?
I love to spend time with family and friends, read, and play board games. As you might expect, I’m a bit of a weather weenie (duh). Being a Texas A&M alumnus, I enjoy watching Aggie football or any Aggie sporting event. Since my hometown is near Dallas, I’m also a fan of the Cowboys, Mavericks and Rangers. Recently, I have been trying to learn how to cook. One of my cooking goals is to make the perfect brisket.
What do you like about working at FOX West Texas?
I enjoy the workplace culture. Everyone shares a common desire to do our best and serve our community. I’m thankful to work in a place that is relatively close to home. A tornado near where I grew up happened April 3, 2012, and started my interest in weather. I’m grateful to be able to give people potentially life-saving information.
What's one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?
I play four(ish) instruments: euphonium, guitar, trombone and a little piano (I can play like three songs).
