TEXAS, USA — A cold front moved through Tuesday, and Wednesday has been a pleasant day for West Central Texas. There could be a light freeze, especially closer to the Hill Country, but I am not expecting a widespread deep freeze.
I think the biggest weather impact for our area over the next week will be the cold mornings Thursday and Friday. Again, I am not forecasting widespread impacts, but certainly some of the coolest air since March.
Friday, we will begin a warming trend as winds bring warmer air from the south. We will also have a ridge of high pressure in the upper atmosphere, and that means clear and sunny skies as we warm.
Sunday looks like we could potentially hit the 80° mark before another cold front Monday. It won't be as cold Monday as we are seeing Thursday, but it will be more November-like than the weekend.
