Angelo State football game will be followed by Aaron Watson live in concert

SAN ANGELO, Texas — The Angelo State University Rams football team will play its first game of the 2020 season at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, against West Texas A&M University at LeGrand Stadium.

The game will be immediately followed by a live concert featuring country music artist, Aaron Watson.

Both the game and concert will take place at ASU’s LeGrand Stadium at 1st Community Credit Union Field, with stadium seating reduced to 50% capacity to allow for social distancing. All attendees will be required to wear masks at all times and complete a wellness screening prior to entering the stadium.

General admission game tickets for the public will be available for purchase Sept. 22-Sept. 25, at the ASU Ticket Office and online at angelostatetickets.com. The ticket office is at ASU’s Foster Field at 1st Community Credit Union Stadium baseball complex, and the office will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

One thousand tickets have been reserved for ASU students and will be available for free on a first-come, first-served basis. Students can pick up tickets at the Center for Student Involvement in the Houston Harte University Center starting Monday, Sept. 21.

Students will be required to show their ASU OneCard, and tickets are limited to one per person. Students will also need to complete their daily wellness screening before entering the stadium on game day.

Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 26, and there will be no re-entry to the stadium. Everyone with a game ticket will also be able to stay for the free concert after the football game.

The football game will also be broadcast live through ASU’s student Ram TV station on Suddenlink Channel 6.
