Here's our short-list of child-friendly and adults-only Halloween events in the Big Country and Concho Valley.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — All Hallow's Eve is upon us, and there are a host of fun events happening all over the Concho Valley and the Big Country. If you’re still debating what to do on Halloween, here are some suggestions for whether you want to go out with the family or have an adults-only celebration.

If you want to take the kids trunk or treating, these events are the perfect fit:

SAN ANGELO 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Chan’s All Day Halloween Drive Thru, Chan’s Beer Barn       

ABILENE 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Halloween Bash at Honda Abilene

ABILENE 5:30 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. All Hallows Eve Three Year Anniversary Bash, Retro World Arcade with trunk or treat, costume contest, food trucks and more

SAN ANGELO 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. San Angelo Trunk or Treat, West Texas Rehabilitation Center

BALLINGER 5:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Trunk or Treat

SAN ANGELO 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. San Angelo Fire Department Truck or Treat, all stations

ABILENE 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Halloween Walkthrough

MERTZON no scheduled times, Irion County Sheriff's Office Trick or Treat

BUFFALO GAP 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Bullpen Halloween Party with costume contest

SAN ANGELO 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. showings, San Angelo Performing Arts Center Rocky Horror Picture Show with costume contest

ABILENE 8 p.m. to 11:55 p.m. Hedley at Heff’s Halloween Party, concert and costume contest

POTOSI 9 p.m. onward Halloween Dance Party @ Potosi Live with costume contest
