BRADY, Texas — The Heart of Texas Country Music Museum will host the Texas Country Music Festival for the 33rd year in Brady.
Museum director Tracy Pitcox said being able to celebrate old and new country music in the heart of Texas is a big honor every year.
“This started out as a one day event but it's grown to 11 days now. Fans come from 22 different states and several foreign countries and we’re really excited about it,” Pitcox said.
Dozens of music artists have been performing at the festival for years. The line up this year will be full of country artists for visitors to enjoy.
“I think our festival is really unique because it’s like a family reunion. People come back from year to year to hear the music and be with different people. It’s also a great mix of different types of country music. From legends like Gene Watson to newcomers like the Moffatts brothers," Pitcox said.
