SAN ANTONIO — Get ready for a night of Tejano music in San Antonio!
The Texas Talent Musicians Association (TTMA) announces the 44th Annual Tejano Music Awards will be held on Friday, November 22 at the Boeing Center at Tech Port + Arena.
The night of music celebrating Tejano music’s legacy and future will be hosted by San Antonio comedians Chona E and Big John, with special guest Valente Rodriguez.
Two Tejano legends will be honored for their lifetime achievements at this year's show.
“La Voz De Oro” David Marez, known for his work with the Royal Jesters, and Placido Salazar, a Tejano music pioneer who continues to promote Conjunto as a radio DJ will both be honored for their lasting impact and contributions to Tejano music.
Tejano stars Jay Perez, Solido, Stefani Montiel, and Avizo will perform in tribute to icons of Tejano music.
The red-carpet ceremony begins at 5:00 pm. on Friday, November 22 at the Boeing Center at Tech Port + Arena in San Antonio.
