SAN ANGELO, Texas — Kings of the West touched down in San Angelo Saturday, March 19.

Artists from the West Coast came to perform at the Bill Aylor Sr. Memorial River Stage and thousands of fans lined up, wrapping around the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts waiting to get through the gates.

Not to mention, perfect weather conditions allowed everything to operate smoothly.

"Everybody. We are just excited to see everyone" one San Angelo resident said as they were patiently waited for the gates to open.

Now what some do not know is that it takes a lot of teamwork and help from others to get these kinds of shows to successfully work.

"At one point, this concert was on the verge of being canceled because some felt the market was too small, but we still somehow pulled it off," City of San Angelo events manager, Sidney Walker expressed in a Facebook post.

Words can mean several different things, but as you can see, this was a night filled with music and tons of people from all over. Walker said 4,200 people were in attendance Saturday night.

As artist Ice Cube would say, "I can't believe today was a good day."
