'Bike Through the Lights' will happen Dec. 6

SAN ANGELO, Texas — The Concho Christmas Celebration and San Angelo Bicycling associations are hosting "Bike Through the Lights," beginning at 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, along the Concho River.

According to a Concho Christmas Celebration press release, it is a non-competitive bicycle ride and free for everyone.

Attendees can see Christmas lights and more than 75 life-size Christmas greeting cards.

Parking for the event will be available at the San Angelo YMCA parking lot, 353 S. Randolph St.

Cyclists will exit the lower YMCA parking lot at the corner of South Randolph Street onto River Drive, according to the release.

There is no age limit for the event and riders skaters, walkers, strollers, as well as runners are welcome.

Cyclists will need front light, rear reflector or light and a helmet. Skaters will also be required to wear a helmet.

Cyclists must be off the tour streets by 6:30 p.m.
