SAN ANGELO, Texas —
A meet and greet, tours, a photography show and more are planned for 10 a.m. Saturday, July 9, at the Railway Museum of San Angelo, 703 S. Chadbourne St.
Railway tours will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for $3-$5 per person.
Also beginning at 10 a.m. is the Show & Shine Invitational, where people can show off their vehicles until 1 p.m. in the museum parking lot, free of charge.
The San Angelo Police Department's Public Information Officer will be in the museum's parking lot from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. with free drink coupons and stickers for children and a chance to check out an SAPD patrol vehicle.
Beginning at 11 a.m., there will be a free drone photography course hosted by photographer Damon Bell.
The various activities will honor the city’s rich railway history while also celebrating 2022 “becoming the museum’s best year ever,” according to board president Suzanna Valenzuela.
