TOM GREEN COUNTY, Texas — The Tom Green Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the Texas Department of Transportation to participate in the “Click It or Ticket” campaign during the Memorial Day Weekend.
According to a TGCSO release, the extra enforcement period will begin in May and end in June.
The goal is to reduce traffic-related crashes and injuries while keeping the roadways safe for all travelers.
Deputies will be monitoring highways for speeding, occupant safety restraints and possible intoxicated drivers, the release said.
