ABILENE, Texas — Abilene Police said Wednesday a 24-year-old Abilene man was arrested and charged with burglary of habitation with the intent to commit a sexual offense.
According to the department, Tuesday morning, officers were called out to a home in the 1300 block of Amarillo Street, where the victim told them a stranger went into their home, assaulted them, stole items and ran away.
Officers searching in the area found a man matching the description and took him to the police station for questioning.
Braden Andrew Harris, 24, was arrested and charged with first-degree felony burglary of habitation with intent to commit a sexual offense and second-degree felony burglary of habitation for another home break-in reported earlier the same day.
