ABILENE, Texas — An Abilene man has been arrested and charged with possession of child sex abuse material, the Abilene Police Department said Thursday.
On Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2022, the APD's Special Investigations Bureau Cyber Crimes, in conjunction with the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Criminal Investigations Division, executed a search warrant at the home of Bennett Lloyd Stone, 63, of Abilene. Stone was arrested at the home in the 2900 block of Nonesuch Road, where more images were found in his possession.
He was booked in at the Taylor County Jail on a third-degree felony charge with a bond of $15,000.
