ABILENE, Texas — Abilene Police say two teenagers, one 19 and one 16, have been arrested on multiple charges.
A press release from the APD said on Tuesday, April 12, Auto Crimes Task Force detectives arrested the two on multiple charges stemming from several crimes in Abilene over multiple days.
Devontay Dee Wayne Don Lamb, 19, and a 16-year-old juvenile boy were arrested in east Abilene in a stolen vehicle.
Detectives responded to a tip from a victim whose vehicle was reported stolen. When detectives arrived at the scene, they found Lamb and the teenager in the vehicle and arrested them.
Weapons were found in the vehicle, the release said.
Lamb was booked into the Taylor County Jail. He is being held on charges of second-degree felony burglary of habitation; third-degree felony unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon; and state jail felony unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
The juvenile is being held at the Taylor County Juvenile Justice Center and accused of several crimes.
The investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible, the APD said.
