Four arrested for aggravated assault on East 22nd Street

Police say the four arrested went to a home on East 22nd Street to confront others about a theft of property. The suspects were armed with firearms and knives.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Two men and two women were arrested by San Angelo Police Monday evening after one woman was physically assaulted and another was threatened by knifepoint.

According to the San Angelo Police Department, just after 9 p.m. Monday, officers were dispatched to a home in the unit block of East 22nd Street for an unknown problem.

Police said Cameron C. Lewis, Jyzharnae A Greenwood, Gabreal Greenwood, and Danny P. Hicks went to the home armed with guns and knives to confront the occupants about a recent theft of property.

After a lengthy investigation, SAPD Criminal Investigations Division detectives developed probable cause to charge Lewis, J. Greenwood, and G. Greenwood with aggravated assault with deadly weapon. Hicks was charged with possession of marijuana.

This is an ongoing investigation and no additional information is available for release.
