Joint law enforcement operation on Culberson Street leads to two arrests

TOM GREEN COUNTY, Texas — On Wednesday, July 29, the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division, in collaboration with Homeland Security Investigations and Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division, executed an evidentiary search warrant at a home in the 1400 block of Culberson Street.

According to a press release from the TGCSO, as a result of the search warrant, TGCSO investigators seized the following - 1.23 grams suspected cocaine; six tablets of suspected MDMA (Ecstasy); two doses of suspected lysergic acid diethylamide; 0.55 oz. of suspected psilocybin mushrooms; and approximately 11 lbs. of raw marijuana. Two subjects were arrested and charged in the offense.

Robert Leaptrot, 31, of San Angelo was charged with possession of marijuana >5lbs<=50lbs, a third-degree felony; possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1 >=1G<4G, a third-degree felony; possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1 <1G, a state jail felony.

Additionally, Destiny Torres, 28, of San Angelo, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana >5lbs<=50lbs, a third-degree felony; possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1 >=1G<4G, a third-degree felony; and possession of controlled substance Penalty Group 1 <1G, a state jail felony.

The two were transported to Tom Green County Jail and booked without incident.
