The Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division, along with the Abilene Police Department, Brown County Sheriff’s Office, and Brownwood Police Department, conducted a child trafficking operation Aug. 6-7 in Brown County.
According to a press release from the BCSO, the operation was headquartered at the Brown County Law Enforcement Center in Brownwood.
It targeted subjects that were soliciting minors online for sexual encounters.
The operation led to the arrest of 12 persons in Brown County and the arrest of three persons in other counties.
