SAN ANGELO, Texas — San Angelo Police announced Friday evening that a person of interest in an Oct. 24, 2020, homicide has been arrested.
According to a press release from the San Angelo Police Department, on Dec. 15, SAPD detectives working with the Texas Rangers; members of the US Marshal Service Lone Star Fugitive Task Force; and officers with the Odessa Police Department CID/SWAT, executed a search warrant at an Odessa home.
Investigators had probable cause that Wendy McCluskey, who was wanted for tampering with evidence in Howard County, was inside the home.
McCluskey was a person of interest in the murder of Juan Quintana in San Angelo. She was found and arrested during the search warrant, along with items of evidentiary value.
On Thursday, Dec. 18, detectives obtained a warrant for McCluskey for murder and the warrant was added to her charges in Ector County.
The release said this investigation is ongoing and additional details will be released when they become available.
