TGC deputies serving search warrant seize stolen guns, marijuana and more than $63K in cash

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Tom Green County Sheriff's Office deputies serving a search warrant at a San Angelo apartment seized two stolen firearms, marijuana and more than $63,000 in cash.

According to a press release from the sheriff's office, on Thursday, Oct. 21, deputies conducted a search warrant on an apartment at 4190 Ben Ficklin Road because of a narcotics investigation.

They found more than 13 pounds of packaged marijuana and more than $63,000 in cash. Two firearms were also recovered and were later determined to be stolen.

Tyler Parks, 21, was arrested and booked into the Tom Green County Jail for felony possession of marijuana, between 5 and 50 lbs.

The SO said this is still an active investigation and additional charges are possible.

In the release, the sheriff's office thanked the Department of Homeland Security and the Center for Tactical Medicine for their assistance in this operation.
