TGC Sheriff's Office seizes meth, marijuana, cash during search warrant execution

The suspect, John Bonner wasn't at the home at the time of the search warrant. Anyone with information on his whereabouts can call the TGCSO, SAPD or Crime Stoppers.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Approximately 5.4 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, 0.5 pounds of marijuana and $7,100 in cash were seized by Tom Green County Sheriff's Office deputies Wednesday. 

The TGCSO said as a result of a narcotics investigation, a search warrant was executed at a home in the 3000 block of Travis Street in San Angelo. During the execution of the warrant, deputies found and seized the drugs and cash, as well as a gun.

The suspected party, John Bonner, 43, was not at the home at the time of the search warrant. Arrest warrants for manufacture/deliver controlled substance >=400 g and possession of marijuana >=4 oz<5 lb. have been issued for Bonner.

Anyone with information on John Bonner’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, the San Angelo Police Department, or Crime Stoppers.

TGCSO Criminal Investigation Division deputies led the investigation and were assisted by Patrol Division deputies and the TGSO Special Response team.

In the release, the sheriff's office thanked the Department of Homeland Security Investigations and the Center for Tactical Medicine for their help in the operation. The TGCSO also thanked the public for support and information that contributes to the success of office's ongoing efforts to combat drugs and crime.
