TOM GREEN COUNTY, Texas — A fugitive is in the Tom Green County Jail Friday after a joint effort between the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office and the San Angelo Police Department led to his arrest.
The operation resulted in the capture and arrest of Juan Morales, 38, at a San Angelo home. Morales was a fugitive from justice, described as dangerous in a release from the TGCSO, and had a total of 12 warrants for his arrest from Tom Green County. Ten of the warrants were for felony violations.
Morales was wanted on four warrants for aggravated assault with deadly weapon, three warrants for evading arrest with a motor vehicle, and several warrants for possession of controlled substance.
He previously ran from law enforcement on multiple occasions and caused numerous vehicle crashes, which resulted in others being injured.
