Three-month narcotics investigation leads to multiple indictments, arrests in Runnels County

RUNNELS COUNTY, Texas — The Runnels County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release Thursday it ended a three-month long narcotics investigation in Runnels County.

Sealed indictments were handed down earlier in the month and arrests were made on the following individuals on Dec. 8, 2021:

  • Gabriel Alfaro Jr. – manufacture/delivery of controlled substance Penalty G1<1g. Bond set at $20,000.
  • Freddy Brown - manufacture/delivery of controlled substance Penalty Group 1<1g. Bond set at $10,000.
  • Shoni Ferguson - manufacture/delivery of controlled substance Penalty Group 1<1g. Bond set at $10,000.
  • Mary Jones  - manufacture/delivery controlled substance Penalty Group 3/4 <28g. Bond set at $20,000.
  • Tia Nicole Lopez - manufacture/delivery of controlled substance Penalty Group 1<1g. Bond set at $10,000.
  • Tia Nicole Lopez - manufacture/delivery of controlled substance Penalty Group 1<=200g<400g. Bond set at $10,000.
  • Michael Luna - manufacture/delivery of controlled substance Penalty Group 1<1g. Bond set at $10,000.
  • Fidencia Q. Martinez - manufacture/delivery of controlled substance  Penalty Group 1<1g. Bond set at $10,000.
  • Daniel Sanchez -  manufacture/delivery of controlled substance Penalty Group 1<1g. Bond set at $10,000.
  • Daniel Sanchez - manufacture/delivery of controlled substance  Penalty Group 1<1g. Bond set at $10,000.
  • Michael Liggins - manufacture/delivery of controlled substance Penalty Group 1<1g. Bond set at $10,000.
  • Michael Liggins - manufacture/delivery of controlled substance  Penalty Group 1<1g. Bond set at $10,000.
  • Shila Ann Drake -  manufacture/delivery of controlled substance Penalty Group 1<1g. Bond set at $10,000.
  • Sergio Rangel -  manufacture/delivery of controlled substance Penalty Group 1<1g. Bond set at $10,000.

    Several individuals still have outstanding warrants from this investigation and will be arrested when found, the release said. 

In the release, the Runnels County Sheriff’s Office thanked the Ballinger PD, Winters PD and Constable Pct. 1 for their assistance in making the arrests.
