TOM GREEN COUNTY, Texas — The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), was conducting an ongoing narcotics investigation Wednesday when TGSO deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle where the driver, Tyler Ashton, was found to be in possession of a large quantity of methamphetamine, heroin and cash.
According to the TGCSO, a subsequent search warrant was conducted at a location in San Angelo where additional methamphetamine was found.
Ashton was booked into the Tom Green County Jail for manufacture/delivery of controlled substance, 200 grams-400 grams, a first-degree felony, punishable by up to 99 years, or life, in prison.
In the release, the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office thanked the FBI for its assistance in this investigation.
