SAN ANGELO, Texas — The San Angelo Police Department is looking for 37-year-old Robert Espinosa Garcia Jr., also known as “Blunt,” in connection to an early morning double-stabbing that left two San Angelo men seriously injured.
Just after midnight, San Angelo Police were dispatched to the Concho Pearl Ice House, 1605 S. Chadbourne St., for the report of a fight in progress with a knife involved.
When officers arrived, they found two male victims, ages 18 and 37, who were suffering from apparent stab wounds. Both men were transported to a nearby hospital where they underwent emergency surgery for serious injuries. According to a press release from the SAPD, the two men are reportedly in serious and critical condition, respectively.
Detectives with the department’s Criminal Investigations Division responded and learned the two victims, both Concho Pearl Ice House employees, were stabbed just outside the bar as they tried to break up a fight between Garcia and several other males. Garcia reportedly fled the scene in a vehicle.
Garcia has an active warrant for second-degree felony aggravated assault with deadly weapon. Anyone with information about Garcia’s whereabouts is asked to contact the San Angelo Police Department at 325-657-4315.
