ABILENE, Texas — Abilene Christian University students will participate in a pop-up market that will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 24 at 201 Mesquite, 201 Mesquite St.
According to an ACU press release, more than 20 student-run organizations will participate in the vendor fair.
Items offered at the fair include, but are not limited to, chocolates, tea, clothing, jewelry, hand lettering, journals and character party rentals.
The Founder's Club provides networking and resources for students who are starting and running their own business, according to the release.
The Founder's Club is overseen by Mindy Howard, Griggs Center student coordinator.
“It has been so inspiring to see the ambition these students possess,” Griggs said." They are juggling so much but still manage to run businesses with excellence and creativity."
The event is organized by the Founder's Club, a part of the Griggs Center for Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy, and sponsored by the Development Corporation of Abilene.
