ABILENE, Taylor County — The Abilene-Taylor County Health District confirmed the 168th COVID-19-related death - a woman in her 60s with pre-existing health conditions - in Taylor County Thursday.
The health district reported 90 new confirmed COVID-19 cases - 43 PCR and 47 antigen.
There were also 138 recoveries reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 7,386.
Ninety-five total hospitalizations were included in the report.
Taylor County has administered 36,651 PCR and 46,427 antigen tests, of which, 4,460 PCR and 5,469 antigen tests were confirmed cases.
There were 32,191 negative PCR and 40,985 negative antigen test results reported.
