ABILENE, Taylor County — The Abilene-Taylor County Health District confirmed seven additional COVID-19-related deaths in Taylor County Saturday.
The new deaths bring the total number of COVID-19 deaths in Taylor County to 318.
According to the health district, the patients were four men in their 80s, a woman in her 70s, a woman in her 60s and a woman in her 20s.
No other information was available about the patients at the time of the release.
The health district also reported 23 new confirmed COVID-19 cases - four PCR and 19 antigen.
There were 29 hospitalizations were included in the report.
Eighty-four recoveries were also reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 13,225.
Taylor County has administered 51,029 PCR and 72,991 antigen tests. Of those tests, 6,866 PCR and 8,019 antigen tests were confirmed cases.
There were 44,163 negative PCR and 64,972 negative antigen test results were reported.
