ABILENE, Taylor County — The Abilene-Taylor County Health District confirmed the 287th COVID-19-related death - a woman in her 80s - in Taylor County Friday.
The health district also said there were 55 new confirmed COVID-19 cases - 40 PCR and 15 antigen.
There were 110 recoveries reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 12,554
Fifty hospitalizations were also reported.
As of Feb. 5, Taylor County has administered 50,769 PCR and 70,281 antigen tests, of those tests, 6,773 PCR and 7,876 antigen tests were confirmed cases.
Additionally, 43,996 negative PCR and 62.405 negative antigen test results were reported.
