ABILENE, Taylor County — The Abilene-Taylor County Health District confirmed three additional COVID-19-related deaths in Taylor County Thursday.
The new deaths bring the total number of COVID-19-related deaths in Taylor County to 210.
The patients were:
- a man in his 60s
- a man in his 80s with pre-existing health conditions
- a man in his 80s with pre-existing health conditions
The health district also reported 163 new confirmed COVID-19 cases - 59 PCR and 104 antigen.
There were 103 recoveries reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 9,411.
The report included 129 total hospitalizations.
There have been 43,812 PCR and 55,639 antigen tests administered in Taylor County, of those tests, 5,249 PCR and 6,448 antigen tests were confirmed cases.
Additionally, there were 38,563 negative PCR and 49,191 negative antigen test results reported.
