ABILENE, Taylor County — The Abilene-Taylor County Public Health District reported 174 new confirmed COVID-19 cases Friday – 59 PCR and 115 antigen.
The health district also reported 74 recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries to 9,485.
There were 129 total hospitalizations were included in the report.
As of Jan. 8, there have been 43,952 PCR and 56,445 antigen tests administered in Taylor County, of which 5,308 PCR and 6,563 antigen were confirmed cases.
There were also 38,644 negative PCR and 49,882 negative antigen test results reported.
