The Abilene-Taylor County Public Health District reported 95 new confirmed COVID-19 cases Sunday – 49 PCR and 46 antigen.
The health district also reported 68 recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries to 10,346.
The updated hospitalization information for Saturday, Jan. 16 and Sunday, Jan. 17 was not available at the time of the release, according to the City of Abilene.
As of Jan. 17, Taylor County has administered 44,969 PCR and 61,235 antigen tests, of which 6,040 PCR and 7,188 antigen were confirmed cases.
Additionally, 38,929 negative PCR and 54,047 negative antigen test results reported.
