COSA: Lake Nasworthy parks closed from July 3-13

In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19, the City of San Angelo is closing parks at Lake Nasworthy and is in discussion with the lake HOA about July 4 fireworks.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Beginning at midnight Friday, July 3, all Lake Nasworthy parks and beaches will be closed to the public, effective until July 13, according to a press release from the City of San Angelo.

The closures are part of the City’s effort to slow the spread of COVID-19.

In the release, the City said it is in discussion with the Lake Nasworthy Homeowners Association regarding the July 4 fireworks show, and does not have any further information as of the time of the release

Public boat ramps will not be closed.
