SAN ANGELO, Texas — The West Texas Borrachos are partnering with The Penny Tap House for the 3rd annual Christmas Bash.
The event will feature live music, jump houses and free food and drink, as well as a gift give-away and free raffle. Anything that is left over at the end of the celebration will be donated to Downtown’s Family Shelter.
The event is free and open for all ages. The tailgaters say the reasoning behind the bash is simple.
"We love our community and if we can give back, then why not?" Sergeant-at-Arms Jose Cuellar said.
As of late, the group is also a 501(c)(3) and Cuellar said that created new options.
"We’re still taking sponsors, anybody out there that wants to sponsor or donate gifts, toys, whatever, we’re still taking," he said.
The West Texas Borrachos member also said this event is perfect for anyone struggling to afford gifts for the holidays.
"It’s a free opportunity to come, get some free toys for anybody that’s struggling through the year. You know, make plans, come out here, get something for your kids to open up for Christmas. No charge."
