ABILENE, Texas — At approximately 7 p.m. Tuesday, the Abilene Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 2800 block of Grape Street.
Crews arrived to find a single-family home with fire and smoke showing, but were able to quickly put the fire out.
The occupants were home at the time of the fire and were able to get out uninjured.
The American Red Cross was called to assist the residents.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation and the estimated value of damage is $10,000.
