ABILENE, Texas — Top academic students of the Class of 2024 at Abilene and Cooper high schools, as well as the Academy of Technology, Engineering, Math and Science (ATEMS) will be announced Tuesday, May 7, the Abilene School District said.
At the presentations, AHS and CHS principals will announce the Top 25 students according to grade-point averages. ATEMS will recognize its highest-ranking students representing the top 10 percent of the school’s graduating class.
Here is the schedule for May 7 announcements:
ATEMS: 8:15 a.m., The LIFT Center, 2034 Quantum Loop
Cooper High: 9:15 a.m., CHS Auditorium, 3639 Sayles Blvd.
Abilene High: 10:30 a.m., AHS Auditorium, 2800 N. 6th St.
Commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2024 are scheduled for:
- 8 p.m. May 24 - Abilene High
- 8:30 a.m. May 25 - ATEMS
- 8 p.m. May 25 - Cooper High
