ABILENE, Texas —
An auction of abandoned/impounded motor vehicles is planned soon at the Abilene Police Department Impound Facility, 2349 Sandy St.
The auction of approximately 120 vehicles on renebates.com will open for bids Sept. 23. Bidding will continue until noon Sept. 27.
Vehicles may be only viewed in person from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24 and Wednesday, Sept. 25 at the APD Impound. Pictures of the vehicles are on the online auction site.
The impound lot is located off US Hwy 80E (Business 20), one mile east of Judge Ely Boulevard, turn south on to Shaffner Road and east at the intersection of Sandy Street.
