ABILENE, Texas — A 20-year-old Abilene man is facing aggravated assault charges in a stabbing incident that happened Tuesday afternoon.
At around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Abilene Police officers were called to the 1400 block of Glenhaven Drive on the city's north side on a call of an injured subject-stabbing.
First responders found a man with multiple stab wounds outside a home. He was assessed by medical personnel and taken by ambulance to an Abilene hospital.
Officers searched the area for the suspect, Masion Boyd, 20, who had run away from the scene. He was found a few blocks away by patrol officers and taken into custody.
Abilene Police say the altercation was not a random act of violence.
The stabbing victim was listed in stable condition late Tuesday afternoon. APD says the investigation is ongoing.
