ABILENE, Texas — A fire at a home in the 3700 block of Patty Lynne in south Abilene caused an estimated $180,000 in damages Tuesday.
The Abilene Fire Department was dispatched to the fire, where crews arrived to find smoke and flames venting from the home's roof and smoke venting from the eves of the home. A working fire was declared and a second alarm was called to the location.
Crews were able to control the fire with no injuries reported.
The fire is being investigated by the Abilene Fire Marshal’s Office.
