On Thursday, Nov. 9, Hardin Simmons University in partnership with Concerned Veterans of America organized a special luncheon to commemorate Veterans Day. The event took place in the Houston Lantrip Center.
Jessica Villarreal, a representative of Concerned Veterans of America and a veteran herself, was the keynote speaker. Villarreal shared her personal experience in the US Army, shedding light on challenges faced by veterans in their transition to civilian life.
The event was aimed at promoting awareness and appreciation for the sacrifices made by those who have served in the Armed Forces. The luncheon also provided an opportunity for guests to engage and learn about the challenges faced by veterans.
