ABILENE, Texas — The Abilene Independent School District is inviting the community to a festive celebration of creativity and community at its inaugural Christmas at The LIFT event Saturday, Dec. 14.
The event features a showcase of the talents and skills of AISD students with a variety of programs, all in support of career and technical education in the district. It will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 14 at 2034 Quantum Loop.
Event highlights include:
Holiday Market: Attendees can shop a selection of one-of-a-kind, handcrafted items created by AISD students.
Sky Cafe: Seasonal treats, warm beverages and heat-and-eat items prepared and served by AISD Culinary Arts students.
Santa’s Makerspace: The popular crafts workshop is back for its fourth year. Children and families can create their own holiday ornaments with guidance from student makers. Space is limited and RSVPs are required. RSVP here.
All proceeds will directly support programs at The LIFT, Abilene ISD’s state-of-the-art career and technical education facility.
