ABILENE, Texas — For those who are diagnosed with diabetes, it can be complicated monitoring blood sugar, insulin levels and managing any other symptoms that come along with this disease.
Hendricks Health Center is organizing a free Diabetes Expo Nov. 4 to educate the Abilene community on improving quality of life.
The event is set to take place from 9-11:30 a.m. in the auxiliary conference center on the second floor of the Shelton Building, 2000 Pine St.
Certified speakers Cory Brown, DPM, and Anderson Okafor, MD, will be in attendance as well as physicians and other educators.
